Prices are better than say a tire place, usually anyway. Theyve always delivered earlier than their assumed date as well

I ordered tires, they came to my house. I then had to get those tires swapped at local tire shop. That cost me about $105 mount, balance, and disposal of old tires. Don’t know if I really saved much money, but no one had the brand , model, and size I wanted.

Good pricing if they have the tires you’re looking for, but shipping is pretty costly.

costco will mount balance and dispose of old tires for $15 a corner. if you are looking for a good place to mount your tirerack tires that makes buying at tirerack still cheap

I ordered a set of Kumho Mud Veture 33x12.50s from them years ago when I had access to the hobby shop and could mount and balance tires myself. I always check them when I’m tire shopping, but it always works out to be more expensive and more of a hassle by the time you factor in shipping charges and the cost of having a third party mount and balance the tires for you.

They’re easy one stop shopping. I’ve always had a good experience with tirerack. Plus, you can see (if needed) wheel sets on your vehicle using their wheel selector.

I’ve ordered three sets through them. Their warehouse is a half hour away, so usually I can order them online and go pick them up within 24 hours. Still have to pay a shop to swap them, but that’s the case pretty much no matter what, and between Tire Rack’s selection and their thorough tests that really help show which tires perform better, I think they’re the way to go for sure.

You can get better deals elsewhere, and some tires they don’t carry. But for a hassle free experience, they can’t be beat, which is why I order my tires from them.

Bought tires from TireRack through a dealer (same price as online), and bought headlight bulbs directly from TireRack itself. Zero hassle both times – the transactions could not have been smoother, and TireRack goes out of its way to give you pertinent info on its website. I plan to buy from them again!

I got into a sticky position with them as I was trying to decide for several days if I wanted to place an order and in that time while everything was in my online cart, the rims sold out but the tires didn’t. Their customer service dept immediately contacted me and over the course of a day and like 20 back and forth emails, I reached a solution. It wasn’t the best scenario, but I got to talk with the same real person the entire time which was really nice and it made me feel like a valued customer. Having the rims I wanted sell out sucked, but they made it right to the best of their ability. I used them for buying my first set of wheels and tires ever and I intend to go back to them for all my tire buying needs.

Used them once and I have to say it was a stress-free purchase. I bought some sticky Dunlops for the 02 and there was a promo running. I think all the tires shipped was under $300.

We’ve never had a bad experience with Tirerack, and my Dad and I been buying tires from them since before they had a website. Tire shopping via the Tirerack ad with it’s size and price charts used to be an integral part of reading a car magazine in the 90's. They were also one of the few places to sell R compound race tires at the time.
I still usually buy race tires and street car tires from them. I don’t usually buy truck tires for the tow vehicles from them because of the tire weight. A load range D or E rated truck tire kills you on shipping cost.

I’ve been able to beat their prices a few times (Tires direct on ebay) but they are super reliable and very fair. I’ve bought tires from them twice, once locally ($160 rebate and price matching for tires on the van) and other tires I scoured the world for (do you know how difficult it is to find a 275/6-17 with a Z rating?)

not always the cheapest (once you factor in shipping), don’t stock everything, but they are are quick, reliable, and knowledgeable. Wheel and tire deals are good, as they road-force balance for free.

I’ve bought two sets of tires through them. Its pretty cut and dry. I like the fact you can do some reseach and choose what you want. Rather than take what ever the local tire place gives you. My last purchase was through Costco. Their prices are on par with tirerack, but they only stock Bridgestones and Michelins.

I have a set of 205/50/16 Sumitomos sitting in the back of my Focus right now, waiting to be mounted on Monday. I like ordering through Tirerack due to their wide selection of tires in the size I need, and I can review each tire as to how it will perform in winter/summer. The set I purchased is supposed to be quite excellent in the snow, which my current tires were not.

Just find the tire you want and google it. There are half a dozen tire sites now.

For the first time ever, I am getting a set of tires from them this week. It just happens to be the first time that they have the best price.

I’ve had good luck with them. The only issue I had once was one of their recommended installers broke my TPMS sensor and refused to pay to fix it. Also, the first time I used them, I had the tires shipped to my dorm room, which meant I had to put the tires in my car and drive to the tire place to have them installed. Tires are heavier than they look. Just have them shipped to the installer.

Ordered almost every set of tires for my cars for the last 10+ years. 0 issues ever. Local subie dealer mounts/balances for $12 per tire. Did some winter wheel + tire sets pre mounted/balanced a few years back for the fleet also, again arrived perfect and 0 issues, still using them.
This very last time for the MKZ, the Ford dealer we were having warranty work done at said they’d match any price. The local place near me was running a true buy 3 get 1 deal and for the first time in over 10 years the local place beat tire rack’s price + install, by maybe $80. So I let the ford dealer do the tires, only to have them pull some SERIOUSLY shady math on the price matching. Took an hour of fighting and “take the tires off and put the old ones on” back and forth and they FINALLY honored the true price of the local shop, and for my trouble I got another $60 off.
The kicker at ford was that they also “did me a favor” by not charging me to replace the security lug nut on one of the wheels....
Ya - the MKZ is a CPO 2013, the lincoln dealer GM’s wife leased it, then we bought it. Since it’s CPO we don’t touch a thing for a long time, so ALL of it’s work has been done there. Tire rotations, oil changes, everything is free.
So I’m like wait, you want to tell my you were going to charge me because your guys f’d up my lug nut, but your a great guy because you are doing it for free?!?!?!?!? He pulled up the service records and got a bit red faced....
So ya I’ll never price match again, and tire rack is definitely 100x easier. Any time I need tires I get the price there, shipped, and figure install, then go local and compare. I always offer the local shop to match, and they normally never will.

what my bird said...
also... the price you see for the tires is just the tires, expect to pay an extra 50-200 for shipping, mounting, balancing, tpms, old tire disposal etc. etc. etc.
but again, for hassle free, they’re pretty seamless.
had wheels shipped from florida to seattle. tires from tire rack to seattle. they all arrived at a tire rack approved location. tires all mounted and road force balanced. had my car towed to that shop. everything mounted up. car ready to go when i arrived. i live in new york.

discount tire is another big one.
but also... after you’ve chosen the type of tire you want. just pick up the phone and call the tire shops local to you. you may get lucky. ask if they have them IN STOCK. that way you wont have to pay shipping. and you have a tirerack price to bargain with.
